Danielle's Story - Townsville Recovery Centre

22 April 2014

Danielle tells her story of how she came to The Salvation Army's Townsville Recovery Services Centre to find freedom from her 22 year addiction. Through the support and guidance of her caseworker Claire, today Danielle has hope for the future and she is proud of who she is today.

Laurence Lancini, the Managing Director of the Lancini Group, has been involved with The Salvation Army for 17 years, and is part of the Advisory Committee. Laurence sees the work that The Salvation Army do as a necessity in Townsville, and believes there is not better way for people to give back to their community than through the Red Shield Appeal.

The Red Shield Appeal would be impossible without the thousands of volunteer collectors who give their time each year to the annual Doorknock. To volunteer, visit our Red Shield Doorknock registration page.
