John's Story - Canberra Recovery Services Centre

30 April 2014

John had been drinking for thirty years when he entered the Canberra Recovery Services Centre. In July 2013 he graduated the program, and John says he has been able to find freedom from his addiction through The Salvation Army.

Paul Walsh from Actew AGL encourages everyone, from individuals to businesses, to support the Red Shield Appeal in whatever way they can, and make a difference in the community.

The Red Shield Appeal would be impossible without the thousands of volunteer collectors who give their time each year to the annual Doorknock. To volunteer, visit our Red Shield Doorknock registration page.
