Hi my name is steve i am 52 and i spent nearly 2 years in recovery at mirical haven up till it closed down the two majors that ran the centre are the most amazing soilders i have ever met that centre saved my life and showed me caring kindness and major bruce was the kindess man i have ever met and with major andrew had hard love and kindness oosing from him the miricals i saw in there not only showed me gods love but a real sence of caring these guy saved meany lifes and even thow we all saw death quite a few times while there each time you could see a real genuine saddness in there eyes i saw guys manly from merrit and the drug court take advantage of there kindness but thay never dissmised a guy with out genuie saddnes and did there best to try and help them as a child i was sexualy abused by so called cristens and beleved that anyone that loved god was evil and after a run in with andrew and a meeting with lisa the pyscoligest major told me no matter what it takes how long it takes we are her for you this touched me so deeply that i gave them and graint my full trust and thay were my higher power for a long time i moved verry slowly in my walk to crist but after a easter sunday of church then watching the pasion of crist the penny droped my interest in my lord had changed to one of hate to love i still judge some cristens but as thay told me we all have faults and god loves and knows them we are all work in progress and that helps me to this day understanding that what happened to me was that of a sick person that needed gods love as much as me i believe that my brothers that killed them self were sick and tyred of lifes pain and god knows that and because jesus died for our sins that we dont know what god has done but he is full on love just like my majors and thay are with him know with no more pain my life is now about giving back and giving people a helping hand back up but not out major bruce showed me that and that every one is worth wile exept the devil ha ha so now my ife is still hard but i walk with faith and my meaning to life is helping people back up and that is the best high i have ever had i am 6 generation locail of morisset and my grand perents were freinds of the origonal owners of the farm and hope it will continue to stay as a haven for the broken i love the story of willam both and hope that the poor and broken have that place to heal i would love to talk to hq about this and have known ben from media for meny years and help him out when he was broken and i am sure he would tell you about my story and what i beleive the farm could go in the black and continue to be the haven it was ment to be and was for so meany years reguards steve riddell
