VicOne Update

Over the last three weeks, the VicOne team has been on the road to each existing Victorian Divisional Headquarters (Western Victoria, Central Victoria and Eastern Victoria) sharing information about the time frames and approach to consolidate the three Victorian divisions into one from 10 January 2018.

The level of participation and transparency has provided valuable insights and there were some great initiatives shared around how teams, Officers and staff can best support each other throughout the next few months. The VicOne team is committed to providing existing divisional teams with clarity around the way we will operate as a single division as quickly as possible. Head of Policy, Research & Social Justice

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity within the Mission portfolio. Reporting to the National Secretary for Mission, the Head of Policy, Research & Social Justice will be responsible for providing leadership in the areas of Policy, Research and Social Justice.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in the Not for Profit or government sector related to The Salvation Army’s fields of service provision. The role will oversee the development and management of a team to inform:

  • strategy
  • operational management & collaboration
  • advocacy & relationship development
  • stakeholder management and
  • people leadership.
