Our cover story this month is a 10-page Pipeline special feature on the discipline of prayer and fasting.

We also bring you the story of Helen who, caught in a cycle of alcohol abuse, was on a downward spiral until she walked through the doors of The Salvation Army's William Booth House in Sydney. We also introduce a new Pipeline column, Soul Food, in which people share their favourite piece of Scripture and explain why it is dear to them.
