  1. Some things also need to be acknowledged before they can be 'forgiven'. Things such as child sexual abuse cannot be "let go of" until a process has been undertaken

  2. @Anya:
Thank you for your comment Anya. The Salvation Army remains committed to supporting survivors and encourages anyone who was abused to contact our Professional Standards Office via Salvo Care Line on 1300 36 36 22 or at pso@aue.salvationarmy.org. Where possible, we work with survivors in providing support, counselling and other assistance. We are also actively working with and supporting the work of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. To learn more about The Salvation Army and our commitment to survivors and the Royal Commission, please visit salvos.org.au/royalcommission

  3. I quite enjoyed listening to your comments about forgiveness and leaving the past behind, Well done!

As a recovering addict awaiting admission to a Residential Rehab Unit. I know in my own heart that i will be hearing those words a lot, and with the grace of God i will come out the other side with a closer relationship.
    With God, family and friends.
