Film documents India’s ministry

21 July 2015

India - For The Love of God is a 25-minute documentary film documenting The Salvation Army’s work in India. Some of the ministries in India include education, health care, community service, community development programs and church and corps work.

In May 2015, a small team from The Salvation Army's international headquarters communications team retraced the steps of the early Salvation Army pioneers who began the church and charity's work in India back in 1882. The film reflects the ministry and spirit of the people who the team encountered along the way. The film premiered on 3 July at the Boundless Film Festival in London’s O2.
