November 11 is Remembrance Day, a day when we remember soldiers who died fighting to protect our nation.
This year, The Salvation Army Australia is celebrating 125 years of war time work. Since the outbreak of World War I, The Salvation Army has provided resources and personnel from Australia to tend to the physical and spiritual needs of those who fought. We remember those Salvationists who have, in so many ways, shown the love of Jesus amidst the chaos and pain of war.
To help you acknowledge these significant events, the following resources have been made available:
- Leader's notes
- Sermon outline written by Major Brett Gallagher
- Accompanying PPT slide
- Memorial Service message written by Major Brett Gallagher
- Social media event tile
- Event promo posters
- Stories of four Salvos in WWII (PPT slide with accompanying pictures) written by Major Brett Gallagher
