Safe Salvos: State Legislative Checks (ACT, NSW & QLD)

These state checks are called: Working With Children Check (NSW) / Vulnerable People Check (ACT) / Blue Card (QLD) depending on which state you are in.

These checks are a prerequisite for anyone in child-related work, whether it be paid employment or a volunteer role. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct. This is a legal requirement according to state/territory legislation. 
Legislation differs for each state, so make sure you have met the relevant requirements for your state.
