This resource provides 11 weeks of child-friendly Kids Ministry lessons. It has been adapted from the Junior Soldiers material to align with the five key principles of The Way and is designed for use by all children involved at the Corps (not just Junior Soldiers).
Each principle is explored through engaging, age-appropriate teaching themes:
- Discipleship – Who is God? – You’re the One God Needs
- Mission – Standing Up for Others – One Body, Many Parts
- Evangelism – Letting Your Light Shine – Creating Faith Pathways
- Prayer – Talking to God – Listening to God – Creating Prayer Stations
- Spiritual Warfare – Armour of God – Super-Human Power
Each lesson is designed to help leaders and actively engage children, and includes:
- LEADER READY YOUR HEART & HANDS: A reflection page to help leaders prepare spiritually and practically before teaching
- CONNECT: a 5-minute activity that introduces the main teaching point
- EXPLORE: Main teaching time that is designed to be around 10 -15 mins long
- RECAP & REFLECT: An intentional space to bring together everything from CONNECT and EXPLORE, helping children reflect, respond, and apply what they’ve learned.
