Samuel Logan Brengle is The Salvation Army’s foremost holiness theology teacher, whose writings and example helped to shape an emerging Salvation Army from the early twentieth century to today.
In the past, Brengle events were times that selected soldiers and officers were asked to attend the theological intensives to learn about the heart of our movement and holiness lived out in the everyday.
Theology and creativity are two words that seem scary, but we all hold both. Creative Brengle is the opportunity to develop and deepen our theology, while exploring and expressing it creatively. From gardening to gaming to Excel sheets to drawing - whatever way you create will be a useful and beautiful expression that theology can speak through.
Times are changing and so are we, and we believe that every person who longs to know God, express God and live out the life of holiness (a love that touches everything) should attend this series of events. This is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
Among the host of international teachers, we are honored to present Colonel Janet Munn as our keynote, whose insights promise to be both illuminating and inspiring.
