Drought Communities Support Initiative (DCSI) January 2021 Update

Applications for DCSI financial help have now closed.

The Salvation Army (TSA) has been working together with St Vincent de Paul Society (SVDP) to deliver the Drought Communities Support Initiative (DCSI) for eligible drought-affected households.  SVDP still has some Federal Government Funding for specific Local Government areas (please go to their website to see if you are eligible).

All $75m of Australian Government funding through TSA has now been distributed, with 25,292 drought-affected households assisted through this initiative between November 2019 & January 2021.

TSA has also provided financial assistance, and our Rural Chaplains are still available in many regions across Australia to provide support for those still experiencing the impacts of drought.
