John and Marika Vella, two farmers from Peats Ridge, were facing the prospect of losing their entire strawberry crop due to winter damage. Thanks to a partnership with Harvest Hub, The Salvation Army Ivanhoe Estate and Macquarie University, they have been able to turn the damaged crop into delicious strawberry jam.
