Living our Mission

In 2021, there is a year-long focus to equip and encourage Salvos to continue to live out our mission guided by our vision and values. As Christians, we show the love of Jesus by focusing on four key areas of service (click on the graphics below to find resources related to these areas).

Living our Mission is an opportunity for us all to share stories and develop resources to help us serve our communities better. The Living our Mission Toolkit is available at the bottom of this page and will be added to throughout the year. 

“There is so much already happening in mission across The Salvation Army in Australia that we recognise and want to celebrate,” said Territorial Leaders, Commissioners Janine and Robert Donaldson. “As we continue to share the love of Jesus in 2021, we want to provide more resources and offer more encouragement for Salvos on the front line to be able to effectively live out our mission.”
