The National Creative Arts Camp (NCAC) is an event that specifically focuses on the worship arts, giving youth and young adults the opportunity to develop their giftings in music and the creative arts. Whilst the Worship Arts Team utilizes a number of strategies to target these giftings, the intensive experience of a creative arts camp for young creatives is vital. Creative, gifted, active young Salvos play a unique role in pursuing our mission priorities and sharing the love of Jesus with their local communities.
This unique arts engagement event nurtures the heart, soul and faith of young creatives passionate about their art form from across the territory, identifying and developing leaders within The Salvation Army’s creative community. In fact the real power of NCAC is its reach beyond the peak experience of the camp; strengthening pathways for creatives to serve their local communities through their artforms, as well as creating ongoing resources that can be used across the Territory.
Our Focus
• Spiritual: young creatives encountering Jesus
• Skills: young creatives developing and honing their gifts
• Social: young creatives building and experiencing safe and supportive networks and spaces to thrive
• Service: young creatives finding pathways for mission
Our Goals - nurturing the heart, soul and faith of young creatives:
• Provide an environment that challenges delegates to strive to achieve the next level artistically than they can’t get elsewhere.
• Provide quality experiences for talented young creatives to practice their craft whilst being mentored by leaders with a wealth of experience in their art form.
• Build healthy relationships within the creative community.
• Identify and develop leaders for creative communities
• Identify and strengthen pathways for creatives to serve their local communities
Participants

Produced by the National Worship Arts Team, NCAC is a camp specifically designed to encourage, train and develop young creatives. The camp offers a unique and important opportunity for young creatives in The Salvation Army, and the Worship Arts team believes the best outcomes will be achieved through bringing our young people from across the territory together for a national experience.
