Easter Toolkit 2025

Jesus said: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18, NIV).

Easter offers the perfect opportunity to share the Good News of salvation, everlasting peace and hope revealed through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Easter Toolkit is designed to support your ministry and mission, with resources that include Easter sermon outlines, transcripts, PPT templates, resources for kids, conversation starters, social media resources, church invitations and more.

May God bless, lead and empower you this Easter as you reveal hope to your community through the Good News of Jesus Christ.

How to use these resources

Consider using ‘The good news of Easter’ themed resources for community members yet to discover Jesus or engage with a Salvo faith community. This broad, evangelistic message is intended to engage audiences to start a journey of faith, whether through an inspiring video, a hopeful story or a personal devotional guide.

As an extension of the primary theme ‘The good news of Easter’, the Mission Resources Team has developed resources for faith communities using the theme ‘Come and see’. These resources are for use within corps and can help shape sermons for Lent, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. In many cases, though not all, the ‘Come and see’ message is more of a discipleship message — one shared with people who already have a relationship with Jesus.
