Believe in good for others and help them find a path to financial resilience and confidence

The Salvos Moneycare team is dedicated to empowering people to take control of their money, without shame, so all people can experience financial wellbeing. We believe in God’s goodness, helping people to trust in his provision, and empowering people to see the good in themselves.

This Toolkit contains tips and assets to help you promote The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service and extensive range of resources within your mission expression throughout the year so that your community members can experience financial resilience and confidence.

Moneycare Week

During the week of 19-25 January 2025, there will be media coverage and digital advertising for a new campaign called Moneycare Week. At the start of a new year many people turn their attention to their finances and set goals. We have a unique opportunity to share tips and resources at this time from Moneycare to help people feel capable and believe in good for their year ahead.

Should you wish to promote Moneycare Week in your mission expression during January, either physically or digitally, some of the resources below will be helpful.

In the toolkit you will find...

  • Free tips, resources and solutions from Moneycare for those in need — beneficial for year-round communications
  • Branded promotional assets such as event posters, Teams backgrounds and social media tiles
  • Resources for your faith community such as leader's notes should you wish to include a segment in your church service about God’s view of financial wellbeing

PLEASE NOTE: Moneycare has a wide range of resources for the community. Please share the public-facing Moneycare Financial Resources page with the community: www.salvationarmy.org.au/need-help/financial-assistance/moneycare-financial-resources/
