Self Denial Appeal 2025 resources

Every year, the Self Denial Appeal calls members of The Salvation Army to trust in God and give sacrificially and generously to other countries. When we trust in God in this way — no matter what we are facing — we can experience his abundant blessings and have overflowing hope, never-ending joy and lasting peace. 

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13, NIV). 

This year’s Self Denial Appeal officially commences on Sunday 2 March. The Altar Service (Week 6) is scheduled for Sunday 6 April.
