Self Denial Appeal 2026 resources

Every year, the Self Denial Appeal invites members of The Salvation Army to step out in faith and give sacrificially and generously to support God’s mission around the world. In 2026, we are reminded that our giving is motivated by love — a love that reflects Christ, takes action and reaches across borders.

As we give, we are called to do so with courage, strength and unwavering faith — not out of duty, but from a deep love for others and for God’s Kingdom.

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love" (1 Corinthians 16:13–14, NIV).

The 2026 Self Denial Appeal officially begins on Sunday 15 February (Week 1), with the Altar Service scheduled for Sunday 22 March (Week 6).

To help your corps promote the appeal, print and digital resources are available via the links below. Let’s stand together, firm in faith — and do everything motivated by love.
