What to expect from all our internships 

The Internship is a year-long, casual (416 hours, generally at one day per week) paid position which can be extended for a further year.

The program offers the chance to gain valuable skills and experience in Social Work, focusing on Alcohol and Other Drugs, Family Violence, Homelessness or Youth. Or Chaplaincy in a variety of social program settings.

Alternatively, be part of our Community Engagement programs. Here you can develop your skills in areas such as financial counselling, emergency relief assessment and case management. Experience various locations in diverse, multicultural areas, or in our PAL contact centre. You will be part of a team who provides essential support and resources to individuals and families facing crisis situations.

Professional experience

Gain hands-on experience in the community services sector while you study or retrain. 

Build your resume and network connections while you gain a deeper understanding of the connection between our Corps and the social and community programs.
