Your path to financial wellbeing

Anti-Poverty Week (15-21 October) is an opportunity for The Salvation Army to speak to the community about the financial pressures they may be experiencing — and offer a listening ear, compassion, hope and solutions.

"The weight of worry drags us down, but a good word lightens our day," (Proverbs 12:25, The Voice).

We recognise that financial difficulties can affect people from all walks of life and often contribute to increased mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and loneliness.

This Anti-Poverty Week, The Salvation Army’s message is that we are here to guide people onto the path to their financial wellbeing. Our Doorways and Moneycare teams and resources are here to offer “a good word” to relieve the weight of people’s worries and positively impact all aspects of their life.

The Mission Resources and Brand Toolkits below will help faith communities, mission expressions and Area Leadership Teams share this message throughout Anti-Poverty Week. Through sermon notes, social media images, poster templates, event kits and more, we encourage you to engage with your local community and help them to believe in good for their financial futures and overall wellbeing.
