Homelessness Week Toolkit 2023

Homelessness Week | 7-13 August 2023

As one of the leading providers of homelessness, The Salvation Army uses Homelessness Week to create awareness of, and advocate for solutions for, people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. 

The Salvation Army’s 2023 theme for Homelessness Week is: "It’s time to end homelessness: together, we can".  

The campaign theme highlights how the external Australian community, Salvos staff/volunteers/corps, partner organisations and government sectors can work together to end homelessness. It also provides an opportunity for The Salvation Army to highlight our wraparound services to people in need and provide clear pathways to support.

• Promote Homelessness Week and any relevant events your location may be hosting 
• Increase awareness around the issue of homelessness and highlight how people can help end homelessness 
• Highlight your community support services for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness
