Lieutenant Edward Conteh is a corps officer at Marion Corps in South Australia. In this Rich Tapestries interview, Edward shares his and Beola’s story of coming to Australia after escaping civil war in their homeland of Sierra Leone. After arriving via Guinea, they were welcomed into Auburn Salvos in Sydney and have been encouraged and supported ever since. Today, they love serving their multicultural community in Cairns.
