Hope and a Future
Five young people from Papua New Guinea (PNG) will be taking on the Gold Coast Airport Marathon on July 2 as part of the Hope and a Future project. Each year, Aged Care Plus transforms lives through the Hope and a Future project, which offers young people from PNG the opportunity to develop into future leaders in their country through faith, fitness, education and leadership training.
Hope and a Future, now in its fourth year, is designed to help the participants develop new skills, build their self-belief and stimulate confidence, with the aim of developing them in to future leaders in their church, community and future workplaces in PNG. This project will support five young PNG people this year, who as part of this initiative, will take part in a life-changing challenge, the 42.2 kilometre Gold Coast Airport Marathon on July 2.
