Tinashe's Story
Tinashe's faith journey began in Zimbabwe, where he first connected with The Salvation Army. Over time, his relationship with God drifted, but his faith was rekindled after moving to Australia to study. Looking for a church community, he attended Brisbane City Temple and was warmly welcomed from his very first service.
Since then, Tinashe has become an active member of the corps, even learning to play a brass instrument as part of the main band. One of the most significant milestones in his journey was becoming a soldier, a commitment he says strengthened his sense of belonging. Today, Tinashe feels at home in his faith and within The Salvation Army community.
