18 Pages view

Vaughan’s journey began as an Armoured Crewman in the Australian Defence Force, where he served for over four years before a medical discharge changed his path. After years of searching for his purpose, he found a calling as a Sallyman with The Salvation Army, working closely with military personnel. In this role, Vaughan supports soldiers by providing morale boosts, comfort, and a safe space for conversation. His commitment to being there for troops, offering a listening ear and faith-based support, highlights the Red Shield Defence Services’ crucial part of the soldiers’ lives and a trusted presence in times of need.
