In the Australia One weekly update for 14 March, 2018, Colonel Lyn Edge released the outcome of the Social Program Review.

 

The Salvation Army in the days ahead will focus on and will be known for: 

  • Accommodation & Homelessness Services (including Family and Domestic Violence)

  • Alcohol, Drugs & Other Addictions

  • Chaplaincy

  • Community Engagement

  • Doorways (including Emergency Relief and Financial Inclusion)

  • Strategic Disaster Management

 

Areas that we would like to be nationally known for:

  • Disability Targeted Services

  • Out of Home Care

  • Freedom Partnership

  • Supported Education and Training

 

Areas we are transitioning out of:

  • Family Tracing

  • Generalist Counselling

  • Health Specific Services
