Refugee Week: Manhring’s Journey of Hope and Freedom
Manhring’s story is one of hope and resilience. He and his family fled persecution and hardship in Myanmar, walking for seven days to escape the military junta. They endured many struggles as refugees in India before receiving a humanitarian visa to Australia in 2013. Today, Manhring shares his story of transformation, from struggling to meet basic needs to becoming a successful farmer and a leader in his community church. Manhring shares with us, “I have hope for God’s plan for me”, and says that his goal is to share the gospel and invest in discipleship communities.
