The Freedom Celebration will commence with a March of Witness through Riverina Ave, Sydney Olympic Park. All bands, timbrel brigades, Corps/Centre leaders and representatives are invited to take part in this exciting event. Immerse yourself in the carnival atmosphere with entertainment, food, rides, and a showcase of the diverse areas of mission The Salvation Army has across the territory. The carnival will also carry a multicultaral flavour through the food on offer and the entertainment available, reflecting the richness of the Australian community and the diversity of The Salvation Army family. | |

During the Freedom Carnival, the territorial leaders will present the "General's Award" to the children and youth who have achieved that milestone within The Salvation Army's SAGALA program. The awards ceremony will include a full SAGALA Flag Party on Parade! | |
2.30pm | Children's Musical - "Spend awhile on the Nile" Details |
The stage musical "Spend awhile On The Nile" will conclude its performance season with a special full-length performance at Sydney Olympic Park. The musical is produced by The Sydney Staff Songsters and stars youth and children connected to The Salvation Army. [SOLD OUT] | |

Come and see what our Army is doing around the world as various international projects are showcased. Be there for the launch of the “Gifts that keep on giving” catalogue, just in time for some innovative and thoughtful gift ideas for this Christmas. | |

This invite-only event will give young leaders from around The Salvation Army the opportunity to gather, make connections and engage in Q&A with the territorial leaders. | |

You are invited to commence Sunday worship in prayer. Held in the Theatrette of the Dome, Sydney Olympic Park, you are welcome to join us as you please over an hour of prayer prior to the morning worship service. | |

This is a chance for the youth to chill out with their friends, enjoy a sausage sizzle and a little mellow entertainment after a great weekend of celebration. We want to honour our young people and encourage them as they celebrate their freedom in Christ. |
