This Disability Awareness Sunday resource has been created for use in faith gatherings and worship times across The Salvation Army’s mission expressions. This resource explores the value of those with disability and the call to care for people who experience difference and difficulty. This resource may be used closer to the International Day of Disability – which is celebrated annually on 3 December – or it may be used at another time in the calendar that is more convenient. It includes a sermon video, prayer resources and prompts for how to better connect with those with disability.

For more information about this resource or for other disability inclusion support, please contact disabilityinclusion@salvationarmy.org.au.
