These resources are intended to support and equip Salvos to engage effectively with people seeking asylum and refugees (PSAR) communities through inclusion lens. This inclusive engagement will enable the creation of faith pathways, discipleship, and leadership development of people from PSAR backgrounds. 

Refugee Week 2024 

This resource is intended to equip Salvationists and Ministry Leaders to celebrate and participate in this year’s Refugee Week (17-23 June 2023). It contains practical resources for inter-generational participation including prayers, sermons/reflections and activities. It can be used to prepare for an individual reflection, a worship service, a small group activity or a community event.   

PSAR Engagement Resources

The PSAR Engagement Resources are a collection of ideas, guidelines and tools to support Salvos and Ministry Leaders to connect with and build relationship with people from PSAR backgrounds in their community. These resources can be used both for individual’s and faith communities’ engagements. 

PSAR Inclusion Response Tool

This tool contains practical actions that Salvationists can do to be inclusive of people from PSAR backgrounds and to be advocates on PSAR issues. It is intended to support Salvos to be involved and active in sharing the love of Jesus to people from PSAR backgrounds and in advocating for injustice that may be experienced by people from this community.
