For 80 years, The Salvation Army’s Flying Padre Service has brought prayer, support and the love of Jesus to some of Australia’s most isolated communities. In 1945, Captain Vic Pedersen had the vision for a flying padre service to reach everywhere – from remote Outback stations to tiny missions. Today, there is a legacy of officers who have followed in Vic’s footsteps and flight paths, always with the same message: “You are seen, you are valued, and you are deeply loved by God.”
