Chrissy's Story
Chrissy shares her story of coming from a small village in Bali to Australia and facing cultural differences, bullying and personal hardships. Through The Salvation Army, Chrissy found hope and her true identity in Jesus. Chrissy’s heart for the broken took her to Bible college and chaplaincy, which opened doors that she didn’t even know existed.
Today, Chrissy is dedicated to her role in chaplaincy and the spiritual care of women recovering from domestic violence. Back in her home village in Bali, Chrissy founded Ruth and Naomi, a Christian community centre that supports widows and children. Chrissy says that her greatest desire is that “people would fall in love with Jesus”.
