The Salvation Army has transitioned to banking with NAB in 2024. There are 3 “methods” available to Corps when depositing their RSA collections:
1. Over the Counter at NAB or Australia PostYou can use your RSA Deposit Book when making cash or cheque deposits at both NAB Branches and Australia Post outlets. All coins need to be counted and bagged by denomination prior to depositing (in the below coin bags). Please email bankingenquiries@salvationarmy.org.au to order more of these coin bags. |
2. Express Business Deposit Bag (EBD bag) at NABYou can use EBD bags to deposit mixed denominations of cash at NAB Branches only (not at Australia Post). EBD bags accept a maximum of $300 in gold coins, $100 of silver coins (no limit for notes). You must complete the EBD form online before you drop off the EBD bag to the branch. You can order additional EBD bags via Sharepoint at: EBD BAG ORDERS Instruction Guides: |
3. Bulk Coin Safe Bags at NABYou can use Bulk Coin safe bags to deposit large amounts of a single coin denomination in one bag. Limits for coin safe bags are: The Bulk Coin safe bag must be “complete” – they must contain the exact value for that coin denomination. Eg: exactly $100 of 5c coins. Please email bankingenquiries@salvationarmy.org.au to order more of these bulk coin bags. |
4. Deposit BooksWhen banking cash and cheques collected during the Red Shield Appeal, be sure to use your Corps’ unique RSA Deposit Book. If you need to order new deposit books, please complete the online form on Service Now: SERVICE NOW NAB DEPOSIT BOOKS |
