Ellenbrook Mission Centre: Supporting families and building community
Auxiliary-Lieutenants Marenda and Steve Freind are the Mission Leaders at Ellenbrook Salvos in Perth (WA). Ellenbrook is a community largely made up of first-home buyers and new migrants who have experienced significant financial stress in the current cost-of-living crisis. Seeking to be Jesus’ hands and feet in the local area, the Freinds have partnered with Doorways and the local Salvos Store to provide a connection point for people in their community who need help.
