The Way | Mission elective - Part 1
In this first Mission Elective session, Major Darren Dwyer explores mission not as something we do, but as a core part of who we are as followers of Jesus. Drawing on Jesus’ baptism and the Great Commission, he shows how mission is fundamentally an identity, not an occasional activity. Through stories from ministry in Australia, the UK, and a life-shaping moment in Singapore, Darren challenges us to live “battle ready” rather than comfortable. Using biblical examples like Mary and Martha, he reminds us that mission begins in the presence of Jesus and continues through a life of readiness, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
